Cancer is an expensive disease.
Most people don’t realize that cancer not only wreaks havoc on your body but on your checking account, too. Young adults have the especially difficult task of trying to recover from treatment while also trying to find a job, secure their own health insurance and live on their own.
The SAMFund is here to help.
Through direct financial assistance as well as online support, The SAMFund gives young adult survivors the tools and resources to overcome their financial challenges and move forward with their lives. Since 2005, we’ve awarded close to $900,000 in grants to hundreds of young adults across the country and hosted free Webinars on a range of topics including reducing medical debt, family building options and employment challenges, among others.
Your support makes this possible.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to The SAMFund at whatever level is meaningful to you. We are proud to tell you that over 90% of our budget is program-focused, so please know that we are doing our absolute best to direct funds where they are needed most: to the young adult survivors who are determined – but struggling – to get back on their feet after cancer treatment.
